Responsibilities
As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will be trained in paternity collections, process Tissue, PAP, Cytology, and blood/swab specimens for reference laboratories. You will also answer phone calls, monitor the pneumatic tube system, sort and file faxes/orders/papers, and receive specimens from outreach clinics.
RequirementsThis position requires a high school graduate or equivalent, with at least one year of previous healthcare experience in a direct patient care-related role. Prior lab experience is preferred but not mandatory. Certification as a nursing assistant is desirable but not required.
