General Job Duties. Types Of Procedures Required.
Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsible for the planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.

One Chart/EPIC, Omnicell, Phillips tele monitoring/remote telemetry,
Required Skills And Minimum Years Of Experience.
1 year ICU, if candidate has ER skills could use assistance there as well
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS Required. TNCC Preferred. MN License
Shift or schedule requirements.
12 hour rotating shifts, 2 weekends on 6 week schedule, no call requirements, opportunity for additional shifts
Floating to over units/departments.
ICU and MS beds are interchangeable within the unit.
Potentially to ER if trained or float over to assist when busy. Respond to codes throughout acute care.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
Critical Access Hospital with 25 shared beds with ICU/MS/OB
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
Dependent on skill assignment. 1-2 patients if ICU, 4-6 patients if Med Surg assignment and/or if partnered with a co-assigned nurse for the shift.
Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs
