General Job Duties. Types Of Procedures Required.
Medical Surgical Nursing, Scanning and giving all types of Medication, Vital /Signs, Head to Toe Assessments, IVs, Blood administration, POCs, Isolation,
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Placing Telemetry, POC, Vital Signs (Phillips), Vein Viewers, Medical Supplies, Bladder Scanner, Meditech charting
Required Skills And Minimum Years Of Experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in Medical Surgical Nursing
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS, ACLS preferred but not mandatory
Floating to other units/departments.
Will work between the Adult medical unit and Adult surgical unit 2N/3N
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
2N has 23 surgical beds and 3N has 19 adult beds and 5 peds beds
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
5patients per RN Support staff of LPN and or CNAs to help with VS, POC, daily living, walking
Dress Code
Any color scrubs, no blue jean material, Needs to be neat and clean, Shoes closed toe and heal, Only earrings no other piercings. Long hair pulled back out of face.

HR will handle what is needed by the organization. Orientation will be handled on the unit, hands on with a precetor.
