Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining a robust platform infrastructure tailored to our clients' needs. Unlike traditional SRE or DevOps roles, this position focuses on setting up scalable, resilient platforms to support modern applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (specifically AKS) to support containerized applications.
- Set up and manage AKS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and configure monitoring tools like Data Dog, Splunk, and New Relic to provide visibility into system performance and health.
- Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Script and automate operational tasks using PowerShell or Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and support AI/ML platforms.
- Provide technical expertise in Azure Cloud services, ensuring optimal use of Azure for platform engineering tasks.
- (Optional) Work on Adobe integration, adding value to the platform architecture as needed.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes Administration (preferably AKS).
- Proficiency in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
- Expertise in Terraform, including writing, testing, and deploying infrastructure as code.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Data Dog, Splunk, and New Relic.
- Scripting expertise with PowerShell and/or Python.
- Solid experience with Azure Cloud, with a focus on infrastructure and platform management.
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and their integration into the overall platform ecosystem.
- Experience with Adobe integration in platform engineering.
This role is distinct from traditional SRE or DevOps positions. As a Platform Engineer, your focus will be on:
- Building and managing Kubernetes clusters and AKS environments.
- Setting up foundational platform tools and environments, rather than maintaining or scaling existing infrastructure.
- Developing and deploying infrastructure that enables teams to efficiently build and run containerized applications.
