Position Overview
Provide general office and administrative support to the plant. Maintain computer databases and administer workflow applications. Purchase and receive items for the plant. Maintain central-file systems. Answer and route telephone calls. Sign for and deliver mail and packages. Ensure efficient operation of the office and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides backup to accurately maintain paper filing for EHS documentation and medical records.
- Reviews and monitors operator certification records and operator guide reviews
- Organize and deliver safety orientation for new hires/contractors/vendors/visitors
- Assists with maintain Safety Compliance records of contractors
- Assists with managing Monthly Safety Metrics report and man hours reporting
- Update, complete and post OSHA 300 Log annually. Maintain record keeping for OSHA 300 Log.
- Updates Emergency Response Plan
- Updates site safety procedures as necessary
- Coordinate and assist with audits, including rail, ISO:9001, Responsible Care, monthly housekeeping and PSM audits, PSIP metrics
- Assist with coordination and scheduling of first aid & AED training
- Participate in monthly Site Safety Team meetings – create/disperse meeting minutes
- Assists as Site administrator for Gensuite and SharePoint computer applications
- Assist with incident investigations
- Supports/Coordinates community outreach activities
- Assist managing regulatory compliance calendar – respirator fit testing, fire extinguishers, CPR certifications
- Maintain safety files for proof of compliance
- Manage supply stock – order safety and office supplies as necessary
- Assist entering payroll data.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years experience
