Job Description:
- Sales & Client Relations: You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other industry professionals.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the construction materials offered (e.g., cement, steel, wood, insulation, etc.)
- Lead Generation: Prospecting and developing new business opportunities, following up with potential clients, and identifying customer needs.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Meeting with clients at job sites or their offices to present and sell products, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
- Order Management: Working with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
- Market Research: Staying updated on trends in the construction industry, as well as competitors’ products and pricing.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales or a related field (construction, building materials, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Solid knowledge of construction materials (or willingness to learn)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree may be preferred)
- Some roles may require specific certifications or safety training.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission
