What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heyn Brothers Roofing Sales Associate position at Heyn Brothers Roofing?
A Roofing Sales Associate strives to build relationships with customers by interacting closely with them and tries to bring new customers to the company. He helps the company make its business more successful or choose products that will bring in more profits. Through his/her contacts, he/she demonstrates and sells products and services in a particular geographical region. He will also assist in determining the advertising media that will be used, negotiating deals, and organizing ad campaigns. He will attend regular meetings and continued sales training throughout the year. This position is a commission based.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Do all estimates as scheduled by the office. If you cannot make it on time, reschedule it with the customer yourself.
2. Contact the customer prior to coming to the appointment to build rapport and gather appropriate information about the appointment.
3. Research the customer's interests before showing up to be well informed on what this person's tastes are.
4. Make regular phone calls and send emails to customers to keep in touch with them.
5. They must always try to expand their base and bring in new customers and for that they should learn to identify potential customers and their needs.
6. They must be in the public eye as much as possible to gain new potential customers and represent the company at meetings and organizations that the company is involved in.
7. While interacting with clients they must be able to make fast and correct calculations and provide them with sales quotations.
8. They must follow market and customer information and on this basis report on future buying trends.
9. They have to attend the home shows to represent the company.
10. They have to negotiate things like prices, delivery, etc with the suppliers.
11. They must call new customers back when the contract comes in to thank them for choosing us and also to make sure all items have been covered that they may have concerns about.
12. They must effectively communicate on all work orders the specific needs of the customer so that the crews can do exactly what needs to be done. Including the best delivery methods and dumpster placement.
13. They must respond quickly when called upon with specific questions from the crews that are working on their jobs.
14. They must follow up with the customer once the job is completed to make sure they are 100% satisfied.
15. They must encourage all past and present customers to use our referral program. We would like three to five referrals from each customer!
16. They must check over completed work orders and prepare paperwork for final billing, then pass on to the Office to send out the final bill.
17. They must communicate with customers to get payments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $200,000.00 per year
