Position Details:
- Location: Vallejo, CA
- Grade Levels: 6th-12th (Math, ELA, Science)
- Schedule: MTThF 8am-2:30pm W 8am-2:00pm
- Hours: 30 hours/week
- Pay: $20 - $25/hr (based on experience and qualifications)
What You’ll Do:
- Lead small group tutoring sessions (1 to 5 students).
- Use curriculum and materials provided by the HeyTutor.
- Track and document student progress through HeyTutor’s platform.
- Create an engaging environment that encourages learning.
- Ensure students stay on track and make positive behavior choices.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: AA degree or higher (or currently enrolled in college/university).
- Experience: Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Skills: Comfortable working with children in a classroom setting.
- Clearances: Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ background check.
- Bilingual: Haitian Creole
