Responsibilities - Auto Body Shop Painter:
- Make cosmetic repairs to vehicles and paint them
- Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for painting
- Remove rust, fill cavities and dents to create an even surface
- Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application
- Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
- Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
- Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
- Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace
Qualifications - Auto Body Shop Painter:
- Required: Auto body painting experience
- I-CAR certification is preferred
- A good work ethic
- Attention to details
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- High school diploma
