Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Collaborates with the 340B Director in providing guidance from the Department of Pharmacy for the 340B program.
• Actively engages with the organization’s 340B oversight and planning team, which may include representation from pharmacy, compliance, finance, and senior administration, and legal. Assists Pharmacy Director and/or senior leadership in planning related to the implementation of new 340B strategies for improvement.
• Assists pharmacy leadership team in review, analysis and presentation to Combined Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, Patient Care Assessment committee (PCAC).
• Assists the pharmacy leadership team with the investigation and analysis of medication errors and related presentations.
• Assists the Pharmacy Director and senior leadership team with drug acquisition financial reporting.
• Consults and assists with the pharmacy leadership team as otherwise requested.

Qualifications

Job Requirements Minimum Work Experience

• 10 years’ hospital pharmacy leadership experience is required.

Required Licenses

• Current MA Pharmacist licensure is required.

Required Skills

• Extensive knowledge of the Heywood Health 340B Program is required.

• Experience with Macrohelix 340B TPA application is required.

• Extensive knowledge of all Heywood computer applications including Meditech Expanse Pharmacy, Risk Management, and Financial Modules is required.
