Description
- Accurately complete all training records on time.
- Complete coursework within expected timelines.
- Follow rules and policies consistently.
- Consistently demonstrate the willingness to learn from others.
- Maintain impeccable attendance.
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read machine dial gauges and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to obtain knowledge of materials, availability, general characteristics, statics and stresses, machinability, heat treating and stress relieving procedures.
- Perform daily machine maintenance checks.
- Learn to recognize machine sounds to monitor, identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a technical degree program.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to effectively communicate, present information and answer questions clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
- Ability to analyze data or information by identifying the underlying principles, reasons or facts of information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
