About the Job
The Learning Experience Designer will partner with our brands to create engaging learning materials that will prepare our Franchisees to run wildly successful businesses Reporting to the Director of Learning Experience, you will be working with a team of LXDs to elevate learning for HFC University.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and develop blended and technology-enabled learning solutions, including web-based, instructor-led, virtual, on-the job, and self-paced learning resources.
- Communicate with brand partners and Franchisees to ensure everything is ready for training classes
- Facilitate virtual training sessions, utilizing Teams interactive tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose and implement solutions to training & e-learning needs
- Measure impact and revise content to address issues, challenges or gaps in training programs or materials
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years of UX Design Experience
- Experience with LMS Management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Canva
- Experience with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline
- Experienced in using MS Teams to host meetings or training sessions
- Experience with video editing
- Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to interact professionally with brand teams and anticipate their needs
- Positive and optimistic attitude and willingness to tackle big goals with a team
- Must be able to work on-site 3-4 days a week
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- UX or PM Certification
- Experience with Articulate Rise and/or Storyline
- Experience in Learning & Development in a corporate environment
- Experience working as a webinar Producer
- Experience with LMS management
- Desire to learn and grow
Physical and Workplace Requirements
- Light duty work environment – primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., training materials, equipment).
