What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector position at HFR Precision Machining?
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! You will be in charge of determining the quality of materials and finished products as well as maintaining control of quality equipment. We are looking for an open-minded individual who is able to learn and adapt to new technology in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Calibrate and control of all quality equipment
- Record control and data entry
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Mechanical print reading and interpretation are a must.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001-2015 in a manufacturing organization is a plus
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields is a plus
- Must be able to use a variety of measuring tools including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, height gages, profilometer, hardness testers, pin and thread gages
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and reliably be able to commute to work on time
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
