Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Schedule: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Working additional hours/after-hours may be required occasionally, if necessary.

Travel: Occasional travel to other offices or vendor sites.

Salary Range: $70K - $90K Compensation DOE

We are a leader in land development and public works engineering, employing 60 team members with diverse experience in commercial/industrial, energy, healthcare, public, residential and transportation engineering.

We are looking for a full-time Senior Information Technology Support Specialist.

The Senior IT Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, including network, server management, hardware management, technical support, and business software support. This role ensures smooth IT operations and provides technical assistance to end-users with the help of a Managed Services Provider.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain the organization's network (WAN, LAN, VPN).
• Manage on-premise and cloud servers.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle and maintain inventory.
• Provide end-user support and manage incident resolution.
• Manage user access, intranet, and SharePoint systems.
• Handle cloud-based services (Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure).
• Identify and deploy new technology solutions.
• Document IT policies and procedures.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Conduct IT risk assessments and implement business continuity plans.
• Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including budgeting and vendor contracts.
• Schedule maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
• Train staff on IT systems and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Required: Attended an accredited College or Trade School in a technology field and 4 years of IT-related experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in technology field and 6 years of IT-related experience.
• Professional Certifications in IT will be considered.
• Experience with Autodesk software in the AEC industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Network maintenance, server management, backup and disaster recovery, hardware lifecycle management, software updates, cloud services.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Troubleshooting, incident management, IT risk assessments.
• Security Awareness: Cybersecurity practices, security audits, data privacy.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with end-users and stakeholders, documentation.
• Project Management: Implementing IT projects, vendor relationships, IT policies.
• Adaptability: Deploying new technology solutions, training staff.
• Attention to Detail: Asset inventory management, data governance.
• Customer Service Orientation: End-user support, IT onboarding and offboarding.

• Professional engineering office environment.

• Exposure to moderate noise levels from peripherals.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and lift light to medium weights (10-50 pounds).
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Occasional stooping and crawling.

Mental Demands

• Advanced computer and technical skills.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to research and recommend IT systems and software.
