What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician I (Bilingual) position at HG External?
The Maintenance Tech performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation.
Hourly Rate: $18.00- $19.00
Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm (on call as needed)
Full time Position with a 1 Bedroom Apartment Included! Apartment will be available after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
A day in the life might include:
- planning, scheduling, participating in, and inspecting the work of outside contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community
- may be on call in case of an emergency
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- Up to one year of experience in a related field of building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current & valid Drivers’ License and driving record free of major infractions
- Availability that includes evenings and some weekends
