GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITIONS
Under limited supervision, the Resident Services Supervisor organizes, implements and evaluates the Social Services program to meet the psycho-social needs including but not limited to: resident assessment, maintenance of resident records, coordination of services to meet the needs of residents and relocation when necessary as well as supervising and supporting a team of Service Coordinators.
Full-Time- 32 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. (with potential to increase hours as coverage support is needed)
Pay rate for this position is $29.00-$32.00 per hour depending on experience.
SCOPE:
Supervisory Responsibility – Up to 6 direct reports overseeing resident services programs in the assigned community.
Budget Responsibility – operates within the established budget guidelines. Responsible for Resident Services training and annual retreat expenses. Responsible for Affordable Housing Foundation payables and IWISH grant reimbursement of funds.
Essential Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Work Duties:
- Supervises and supports the daily activities of a team of Service Coordinators in upholding high standards of service delivery and resident satisfaction. Supervision includes, but is not limited to coaching, mentoring, and developing goals.
- Procures monthly HUD statistics from team of Service Coordinators, reviews for accuracy and quality and submits Standards for Success and Quality Assurance Report.
- Tracking that Resident Service Coordinators are conducting resident assessments within two weeks of move in and are updated annually.
- Submission of the resident service coordinator grants for the Northern and Southern Region.
Knowledge
- Demonstrated working knowledge of supportive services and other community resources for senior citizens and non-elderly disabled in the area served by the community.
- Standard procedures and techniques used in performing appropriate social work assessments and interventions
- Social work principles and practices with particular reference to affordable housing operations and administration
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education –
- A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related program such as gerontology, psychology, or recreation therapy;
Experience/Training –
- 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in a geriatric setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations –
- Social Services certification preferred
