Job Overview:
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for managing and tracking production orders, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, and facilitating communication across teams. This role is crucial in maintaining order accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and supporting quality standards within our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
- Receive and process production orders from HG1 or HG2 (parts or blanks).
- Lead and actively participate in the Contract Review process.
- Print and organize production orders (HG1) or production packets (HG2).
- Save production orders and purchase orders (PO) in DHR files (HG1); save production packets in DHR files (HG2).
- Production Tracking & Coordination:
- Maintain and update a production tracking spreadsheet to monitor order progress.
- Communicate deadlines, potential delays, and production risks to relevant teams.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- File completed Device History Records (DHRs) in both hard copy and electronic formats.
- Manage external document lists, including customer drawings and related files.
- Ensure part-specific inspection forms are created and verify that revision levels on customer orders match the most recent drawing revisions.
- Generate and assemble production order packets for HG3 orders.
- Shipping & Logistics:
- Prepare shipping documents required for HG1 shipments, including invoices, delivery notes, and Certificates of Conformance (CoC).
- Collect all necessary raw material certifications and include copies with shipments.
- Package and ship orders in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Training & Process Adherence:
- Coach and train team members on proper procedures, work instructions, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production coordination, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of production documentation, order tracking, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for tracking and documentation.
- Experience with quality standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing (preferred).
