️ Your Key Responsibilities
As an HR Assistant, you’ll support the daily functions of the HR Department. You will:
Manage recruitment efforts via Paycor: post jobs and maintain candidate pipelines
Assist with onboarding and pre-employment screenings
Provide walk-in and phone support to applicants and employees
Audit and maintain personnel files for compliance and accuracy
Stay current on HR policies and employment laws
Answer employee questions related to HR policies and procedures
Support process improvements with HR leadership
Assist in social media page management

✅ What We’re Looking For
3 years of administrative experience in a Human Resources setting
Familiarity with Paycor or other HRIS/ATS platforms
Strong attention to detail, especially in employee recordkeeping
Associate degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Professional, respectful, and confidential demeanor
Valid Michigan driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
