We are looking for an individual who enjoys actively directing project teams, and has confidence building long-term strategic relationships with our public clients in Northern California. HGA is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, creative team leader to join our ACE (Arts, Community and Education) and Public|Corporate practice group in Sacramento.
In addition to advancing HGA's commiment to original design, your position requires excellent communication, time management and technical skills. You will be working closely with Principals, Senior Designers, Project Architects, and other Project Managers developing unique and complex design concepts in response to our client's needs and deadlines. You will be a mentor to our emerging professionals and a role model for our current Project Managers. Your oversight on projects will enhance existing client relationships and build new ones through excellent design services.

You will need to have:
- Successful candidates will be a registered architect (preferably in California)with 10 years of professional experience honed on increasingly more complex projects.
- You will have demonstrated your skills by working on multiple smaller-sized, challenging projects simultaneously, possess exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- You will leverage the technical skills of your teams to deliver projects on budget and on schedule.
- Experience with the State Fire Marshal and Division of State Architect is essential.
- Familiarity with LEED accredidation and the Design/Build project delivery method is prefered.
- Proficiency with Revit, Sketchup and other industry accepted software as well as expertise with Program Management software and Microsoft Office products is needed.
Salary Information:
$86,500 to $115,900 (Depending on Experience)
