Job description:·

• Check and respond to e-mails in a timely manner.
• Work with drivers, dispatchers, shippers and carriers to manage the pick up and delivery schedule
• Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
• Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers
• Update status for pick up/in transit/delivery, provide updates to customers and do check calls.
• Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally.
• Obtain documents, update the dispatch system, verify paperwork and arrange the envelops for drivers.
• Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information
• Coordinate border crossing for the customers when required
• Schedule Appointments for the planned loads
• Manage a real-time transportation database reflecting assigned trips, drivers, equipment, origin/destination etc.
• Monitor real time OTR locations
• Keep track of numbers of seals
• Monitor yard entry, daily mail, office supplies and office equipment
• Maximize trailer utilization and minimize trailer idle time
• Review yard and carrier’s daily reports

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of customer service experience in transportation
• Must have knowledge of dispatch software, Web portals, PC Miler, Loadlink and mastery of Outlook, excel
• Team player, energetic, work well under pressure and strong organizational skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Experience:

• Cross border customer service experience is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Customer Service Represent: 2 years (Preferred)
