Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies used in the production process, ensuring optimal performance and quality of output. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and experience with various machining processes, particularly in plastics injection molding.
Duties
- Set up, adjust, and maintain dies for production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct routine inspections of dies to identify wear or defects, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of die setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in die setting or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with plastics injection molding techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
