Description :
24 is seeking a maintenance person to assist our Facilities Manager with basic maintenance services as needed and / or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities relative to its entire facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Performs typical general maintenance tasks to support the facility both on the interior and exterior, including sweeping and shoveling of exterior walkways.
Detects and reports questionable conditions to the Facilities Manager.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on building, equipment and / or grounds as required.
Orders any & all materials needed for the Maintenance Department.
Pick-up and delivery of ordered material .
Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills : carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, plant layout, painting and janitorial.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Experience / Knowledge Required :
Strong communication skills
Strong time management and attention to detail
Proficient knowledge of hand tools
1-2 years previous facilities maintenance experience
Experience with
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or GED
Certificates, Licensing :
Must be able to become certified and maintain certification through an OSHA approved forklift certification course.
Lock-out Tag-out Training.
Electrical, Fire System, Roofing, & HVAC experience a plus.
