Job Description:
Sales Associate for a premiere kitchen store that offers cooking classes by culinary experts most weekend. Retail sales experience, customer service and and cash handling required. Able to operate computers easily. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Possess the ability to learn computer programs relatively easily. Must be comfortable to make phone calls, write emails and speak with customers daily. Capable working alone and will get work done without being monitored. Possess entrepreneurial tendencies.
Responsibilities include:
- Making phone calls
- Writing and responding to emails
- Cash handling
- Customer service
- General store cleaning
- Organizing shipping and receiving inventory
- Bring new ideas for store and cooking class promotional content
- A high level of emotional intelligence
- Friendly and cheerful
- Maintain professional environment that is inviting and fun
- Ability to easily lift 50 lbs
- A great outlook and Can-Do Attitude!
Experience cooking and knowledge of foods are helpful though not required. But a love for good food is a must!
