Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installations, repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of sewing machines, shoe making machines, cutting presses, packaging machines and conveyor system.
- Troubleshoot, change and install electrical component, motors, drives, sensors, and repair or replace mechanical components such as chains, belts, sprockets, bearings and shafts.
- Performance of routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks in the maintenance such as but not limited to: Basic electrical, plumbing, construction, caulking and painting.
- Ability to keep maintenance records and logs both written and electronic.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Organizational and time management skills, able to communicate with peers and management.
- Ability to use and operate hand and power tools as well as material handling equipment.
- Understanding of manufactures manuals and schematics.
- Prior mechanical experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
