3D DESIGNER

The HH Global is looking for a 3D designer to join our Chicagoland creative team. We are an amazing team who partners with other segments of our business to deliver world-class design for our existing and new clients. We are a highly collaborative group of 3D and graphic designers working together to take ideas to the next level and build strong relationships with our clients – one at a time. Our clients love us because we make them look great when they go to market.

You have a degree in Industrial or Exhibit Design and are proficient in 3DS Max. You are comfortable handling multiple projects concurrently and can pivot from one project to another as client needs change. You enjoy presenting your designs to clients and walking them through your design strategy. You have a general sense of materials and production processes. You manage your time well and deliver projects on time. You collaborate well in team settings and can crush an assignment if tasked with a solo project. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate high-end 3D renderings requested by the HHG Creative Group & client stakeholders
• Translate client requests into high-end innovation and design, while also ensuring production feasibility and considered cost implications
• Create original concepts from client briefs and brand knowledge and bring them to life
• Collaborate with creative team and understand the union between 3D design elements and 2D design elements
• Support the team through high-level creativity, excellent service, and efficient workflows

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 - 5 years of experience as 3D Designer / Exhibit Designer / POP Designer
• Experience in excelling within fast-paced, high-energy environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or a related discipline with an emphasis on new concept design and engineering
• Strong skills working in 3D Studio Max software platform
• Strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience
• Prior experience within a design/marketing/advertising agency
• Experience with retail and/or exhibit displays. Preferred experience within Beer, Wine & Spirits industries
• Precise attention to detail during client briefings, rendering output, and communications
• Strong ability to communicate ideas internally and present concepts to client stakeholders
• Experience with vendor negotiations and project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated aptitude in learning new technology for application in a professional environment.
• Ability to work independently with a drive to continually hit goals and succeed.
• Client communication and problem-solving experience with a solution-oriented mindset.
• A knowledge of human centered design and design thinking principles
• A strong sensibility for creative work: graphic design, layout, typography, photography etc.
