The Co-Op will work at the direction of the Operations Manager and Plant Supervisors to lead production lines. This role will ensure production quality, achieve production goals, and mee delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example working in and on the packout lines
Manage packout lines to achieve production goals
Maintain production metrics and status
Review accuracy and quality of finished displays utilizing web collection tools
Measure production output in comparison to goals and lead changes if necessary
Work with internal leadership and temporary staff to achieve production goals
Comply with and enforce all Safety & Good Warehousing Practices as established and published by HH Global
Delegate and place individuals to optimize overall line efficiency
Identify developing issues and escalate them to the Supervisor if necessary
Monitor quality of work produced and ensure compliance with job specifications
Manage team and demonstrate job duties if necessary
Keep line supplied with corrugate and product as necessary to maintain uninterrupted production
Direct the removal of ship-ready displays to designated area
Ensure that production boards are in place and updated
Enforce our “clean as you go” policy
Knowledge, Skills Experience
Must be enrolled and actively pursuing a 4-year degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Production, or Project Management
Must be available to work through a university co-op and be available Monday through Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - 1st shift)
Able to work effectively with team members and comfortable overseeing assigned teams
Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact across multiple levels of business management
Familiar with Microsoft Office, high proficiency in Excel
Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments
Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
