Purpose of the Job

An expert in the area of the latest security devices for hardware products that can incorporate form with function and never settle for less. Knows how to create high security spaces working with fixture vendors to ensure our products are secure pre-launch. Successful track record of partnering with the major security vendors and retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Verizon and others in U.S., Canada, APAC and EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and testing of retail security solutions and displays for consumer hardware, ensuring compatibility and functionality
Coordinate and execute functional testing with third-party retail security providers, validating results and ensuring adherence to standards
Stay abreast of emerging retail security technologies and trends to inform solution development
Develop and apply understanding of retail fixtures and security to create compatible and effective security solutions
Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, testing labs, and internal teams to facilitate collaboration and project success
Collaborate with retail partners to understand and address security and electrical requirements
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of consumer hardware with retail security solutions
Manage suppliers through all phases of testing, development, and production to ensure timely delivery
Develop and execute reliability test plans, analyze data, and provide risk assessments
Manage on-site retail security lab, including setup, maintenance, and hardware/security component tracking
Collaborate with product engineering to implement hardware modifications for retail demo and display units, and provide feedback on engineering drawings
Provide troubleshooting and support for in-store installation issues, and track project status and completion
Knowledge, Skills Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 to 8 years of experience in hardware security
Experience and working knowledge of latest security devices/requirements
Retail marketing experience, working specifically with fixtures/displays is a plus, familiar with big box retailers and their requirements
Project management experience leading time sensitive, large projects, for Retailers or Carriers
Experience and working knowledge of latest security devices/requirements
Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills; high aptitude with the ability to understand complex problems and distill it into a simple, meaningful and coherent story
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Experience working in a highly iterative and collaborative environment
Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams, and tactfully navigating a client-facing environment
Ability to flexibly thrive in ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven, rapidly changing work environment

The US base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
