Overview
This position represents scheduled weekend respiratory therapists specialized in providing critical care, emergency response, and critical care transport for adults.
Qualifications
Education required: High School diploma/GED
License, certification and/or registration: Must be licensed by the ASBRT. Must be registered by the NBRC. Certification of ACLS and BLS is preferred upon hire and/or mandatory within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Experience: Adult critical care experience with proficiency in providing emergency response, intubation, initiation/support of mechanical ventilation, and critical care transport is preferred upon hire and/or mandatory within one year.
Additional skills/abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
