Position: Accountant

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay: $28 to $35/hour (Depending on experience)

Experience:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Experience with tax filings and audits.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing a CPA license.
  
  

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

HH Staffing is seeking an Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledgers.
• Manage tax preparation and compliance reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Provide strategic financial insights to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain and optimize accounting systems and processes.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
