Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, upkeep, and custodial work.
Responsibilities:
- Performing timely work order service, quality make-ready programs, and cost-effective inventory control of the property.
- Assisting in grounds work when necessary: snow removal, lawn care, and gardening.
- Keeping office, maintenance room, hallways, porches, common areas (laundry room basement), back yard, and exterior building in clean and orderly condition.
- Notifying any concerns of need for major repairs to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
- Checking and replacing outside lights, hallway lights and common area lighting.
- Cleaning and replacing air conditioner filters.
- Knowing about water and gas meter cutoffs, all apartments and fixture cutoffs, and sewer cleanouts.
- Performing light electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc.
