What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Financial Controller position at HHM Talent?
HHM Talent is assisting a client find an Assistant Controller for their dealer group based in Moore, SC.
This position is full time and on site with no remote opportunities.
Must have experience working in a dealership office. Previous Office Manager experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile floorplans, general ledger (GL) accounts, and financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and vendor payments.
- Manage inventory stocking, deal breakdowns, and financial reporting.
- Support closing deals and ensuring accounting accuracy.
- Work closely with the Controller to learn and transition into the role over time.
Qualifications:
- Experience in dealership accounting and finance (DMS/Payroll: Techion preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site, five days a week (no hybrid/remote).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and eager to learn.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
