Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition according to dietary needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as housekeeping, laundry, and shopping.
- Provide specialized care for clients with specific needs such as memory care or hospice care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is essential to maintain client confidentiality and understand health-related information.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate support in various settings.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
