**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**
- Operating forklifts with proficiency, bringing 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Loading and unloading trucks, including box and flatbed trailers.
- Efficiently maintaining and organizing the loading dock.
- Loading and unloading the heat treater while ensuring strict adherence to sterilization processes.
- Organizing and managing the finished pallet staging area.
- Conducting quality control to guarantee that only the highest standard of pallets are produced.
- Staging materials for the production team.
- Setting up work and machine stations with cut stock material for various pallet manufacturing runs.
- Keeping the yard organized and free from clutter.
- Disposing of wood waste, such as broken sticks, blocks, bands, and other debris as needed.
- Performing daily checks of the forklift, including lights and fluid levels.
- Blowing out radiators weekly.
- Keeping the machinery clean, including the glass.
- Promptly communicating any mechanical issues and service needs to management and the truck garage.
**Qualifications for Success:**
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without hesitation.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods while bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and walking.
- A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with operating machinery in a production environment is non-negotiable.
- Mechanical aptitude is required.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- A pre-employment physical is mandatory.
**Compensation:**
$23.00 to $25.00
