Basic Requirement:

Duties
- Works collaboratively as a member of one or more teams to conduct evaluations of Medicare, Medicaid, and public health and human service programs.
- Develops evaluation objectives and approaches; designs appropriate methodologies to collect data (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, site visits); analyzes qualitative and quantitative data; and synthesizes and interprets data verbally and in writing.
- Identify potential evaluation assignments related to Medicare, Medicaid, and public health and human services programs.
- Identify appropriate study methodologies and techniques to be utilized in submitting proposed designs and conducting assigned studies.
- Participates in strategic planning, evaluation design, data collection and analysis, synthesis, drawing conclusions, and report generation to support multiple recommendations on improvements to HHS programs and policies.
- Interprets data and findings to form the development of agency initiatives, policies, and practices.
- Communicates and disseminates study findings in forms useful to federal, state, and local research, program, and policy audiences to inform assessment and improvement of programs and policies.
- Prepares reports and briefs for project lead and higher management.
- Develops various statistical tables and reports, new or modified work methods, processes, and procedures for evaluating program services, guidelines, and procedures for program operations.
