Accounts Receivable Manager
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate daily accounts receivable activities to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, as well as account reconciliations. Implement strong controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounts receivable records. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize cash flow and support timely financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement accounts receivable (AR) systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate collection, analysis, verification, and reporting of financial information.
- Provide high-level analytics and insights to senior management, completing projects as needed.
- Oversee AR activities such as invoicing and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives within the AR department, focusing on process optimization and team performance.
- Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls specific to receivables.
- Conduct timely employee evaluations and assess staff competencies to ensure performance and accuracy.
- Escalate urgent AR matters to senior leadership as appropriate.
- Participate in month-end close processes, including preparing aging reports, reconciling accounts, and posting journal entries.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues impacting AR performance and organizational goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including 2-3 years in a management role with increasing responsibility.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with Workday is preferred.

Important to Know
- This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week. However, for the first 90 days (the probationary period), the schedule will be Monday through Friday in the office at our corporate location in Dripping Springs.
