- Support the culinary team in food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to dietary needs and preferences of patients.
- Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure accurate meal delivery and presentation.
- Participate in regular training on food safety and sanitation practices.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and labeling food supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling or food production is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with customer service principles within a culinary or hospital environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Experience working as a dietary aide or in dietetics is beneficial but not mandatory.
