Logistics Coordinator

Hi-Ball trucking is looking to bring on motivated individuals to join our team and keep our country moving forward by creating freight solutions to customers across the United States. We are an asset based trucking company headquartered in Billings, MT. Moving product for our customers is the name of the game, whether that is on Hi-Ball company trucks or through our vast network of carriers. Providing visibility, value, and solutions for our clients is what has set us apart from other freight service providers since our inception in 1946. In our logistics division, customers are both the clients with product to move as well as the carriers we contract to haul that product and we strive to create a quality experience for both parties.

What does a day at Hi-Ball look like?

• Work directly with customers to provide solutions for their freight.
• Answer inbound phone calls while making outbound phone calls to clients.
• Provide updates and tracking services to customers.
• Work with other team members in the office to negotiate the costs of transporting goods.
• Posting available freight online and answering calls from carriers.
• Planning routes and multiple loads from different customers for carriers or company drivers to haul.

This position will have you on the phone with a wide range of people and personality types across the country and will require on-the-spot creativity and problem solving for our customers. We are looking for someone that already has experience in a dispatching role. Experience as a driver is also preferred but not required. Professionalism and effective decision-making are key traits to have when working in the freight market.
