Job Description :
- Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis.
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
- Ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
- Deliver subacute care as the highest level available in a long-term care setting, with specialized training for the unique needs of patients.
- Provide long-term skilled nursing care to residents requiring assistance with personal and medical needs.
- Offer short-term transitional care for patients needing rehabilitative therapies, wound care, or recovery from procedures.
- Support a 24-hour nursing service alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
- Contribute to respite care for hospice patients and short-stay respite care for family members.
- Engage with daily recreational and social activities aimed at improving patient wellbeing.
- Coordinate with personalized nutritional meal plans and provide personal laundry services.
