We are seeking a Full-time Agronomy Employee to focus on Agronomy support, sales, delivery, and custom application.
Responsibilities:
• Promote sales and service through our Agronomy Division by greeting people in a friendly and professional manner, promoting new marketing ideas related to our Agronomy Division, and reviewing and managing the delivery support team to maximize acres and work closely as a team for customer satisfaction and an excellent cooperative image.
• Responsible for the delivery of chemicals, crop nutrients, and maintenance of Agronomy assets by delivering and custom applying crop production products, nutrients, herbicides, and related products on the correct legal descriptions, properly disposing of any crop production products, nutrients, and water not applied to target fields, maintaining custom application equipment, trucks, and pickups, keeping them in excellent working condition, focusing on the image of equipment to our customer base, and maintaining equipment to meet safety and DOT requirements.
• Keep shrink and/or shortage to a minimum, be at work on time and work the scheduled hours, wear personal protection equipment for safety, notify the Plant Supervisor of any customer complaint or compliance issue, and cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Current Commercial Nebraska Department of Agricultural Pesticide Applicator's License
• Current Drivers License or CDL that meets the States requirement for the equipment needed to perform the job requirements
• Bobcat and forklift certification
