Summary/Objective
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will report directly to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with partners and clients, and driving growth in line with Hi-Lite's strategic objectives.
Essential Functions

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the aviation industry to expand Hi-Lite's customer base and market share in the airfield pavement maintenance industry
- Work with the Director of Business Development to expand Hi-Lite’s Sourcewell program throughout the United States
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and partners
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and partners
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Director of Business Development
- Work closely with the operations team and estimators to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns
- Prepare project cost estimates and proposals for Sourcewell-related projects
- Work cross-functionally with other departments (like Sales, Operations, and Training) to ensure marketing strategies align with overall company objectives
- Stay current on industry trends and competitors' strategies to ensure that the company remains a leader in the market
Required Skills

- 25% travel required

This job operates in a professional office environment.
Physical Demands.
This is largely a position that requires office and physical work demands. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand as necessary, kneel, twist, lift, use tools, drive for long periods of time, and continue to change from sitting to standing.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The typical workdays and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, evenings and weekends may be required.

25% travel is required
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the aviation or related industry
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in Business Management or related field.
- 3 years of Contract Administration experience in the construction industry.
