Job Title: Community Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
HI Management, a seasoned property management company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced candidate to fill a part-time Property Manager position for an affordable housing senior community located in Michigan City, IN. (44 apartment homes).
- Work Hours (may vary by location): This position is scheduled for 25 hours in a regular work week; hours of operation vary by site, but typical sites are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
*1 YEARS OF TAX CREDIT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION: The primary responsibility of the Property Manager is to provide proper staffing and training necessary to professionally administer the operational responsibilities for the properties that are assigned to them. Responsibilities include marketing, leasing, team motivation, budgeting, cash management and strong resident relations. The position requires diverse skills, professionalism and commitment. Reports directly to the Area Manager.
Qualifications:
Property Management experience required. Tax Credit experience required. Computer skills and word processing skills are necessary. Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
