What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Estimator position at Hi-Peak Staffing Solutions?
Seeking a Roofing Estimator responsible for selling, pricing, and negotiating contracts for commercial and residential roof projects.
Responsibilities : (including but not limited to)
- Estimate, compile bids and generate proposals accurately and are completed on time
- Make site visits to collect bidding information and / or from Plans / Specs for new / re-roof projects, when required
- Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price
- Review / prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures with essential overall cost accuracy
- Participate in pre and post review project meetings
- Complete project closeout documents
- Cultivate customer relationships that will assist in winning profitable repeat business
- Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the entire project from start to finish
- Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects
