Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques on carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel. The painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for paint and painting to specifications to ensuring high-quality workmanship. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces and masking
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paint according to specification
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Must be able to wear respirator
• Must be able to operate forklift

Experience

• Proven experience in construction painting or industrial painting is preferred.
• Basic math skills are essential for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
• Ability to operate various power tools safely is necessary for this role.
