Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Dimensional Control Engineer to join our team at Hi-Tec Machine Corp. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM programming and a strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
The Dimensional Control Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing CMM programs, operating CMMs to perform inspections, and analyzing measurement results to generate detailed inspection reports.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CMM programs using MCOSMOS C1 or similar software.
- Operate CMMs to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Analyze measurement results and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with engineers and machinists to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in calibrating and maintaining measurement equipment.
