About the Job
We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup / Operator to join our team at Hi-Tec Machine Corp. This position involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines according to work instructions.
- Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for production runs.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections, making necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to machine performance, tooling, and material defects.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documents.
- Understanding of CNC machine programming fundamentals.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
This is a full-time role in a manufacturing environment. You will be exposed to machining equipment, metalworking fluids, and noise. Standing for extended periods and handling materials up to 50 lbs are also required.
