Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Hi-Tec Machine Corp. As an Entry-Level CNC Lathe Operator, you will play a critical role in producing precision metal and plastic components according to specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of machining processes, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
- Loading raw materials into the machine and monitoring the machining process.
- Inspecting finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Performing basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Adjusting machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BASIC knowledge of machining, blueprint reading, and measuring tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machining is preferred but not required.
