Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Southeast is responsible for driving new sales and revenue growth within their assigned region, focusing on fleets with between 51-250 trucks, and building relationships with OEM dealers.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with trucking fleets (51-250 trucks)
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, using value-based selling strategies
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term satisfaction and account growth
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and KPIs for the assigned region
- Attending trade shows and events
- Maintaining account records within CRM
- Act in a professional and positive manner always
- Technical Expertise & Customer Training:
- Develop a solid understanding of Air-Weigh onboard scale technology
- Learn onboard scale installation process, calibration, and usage
- Provide on-site and remote training for fleets, ensuring proper product use and maximizing customer value
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and technical inquiries when needed
- Develop understanding of CAN bus Integrations and BLE connectivity
- Market & Industry Engagement:
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent Air-Weigh and identify new business opportunities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
- Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Required:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the trucking, transportation, technology, or commercial vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of fleet operations and truck/trailer equipment.
- Technical aptitude to understand onboard scale systems, installation, and calibration processes.
- Proven success in developing new business and managing a sales territory.
- Outgoing, personable, and customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel 50-65% of the time.
- Must own a dependable vehicle for regional travel.
- CRM proficiency
- Ability to deliver compelling virtual and in-person presentations.
- Preferred:
- Experience selling technology-based solutions to the trucking industry.
- Previous work with OEMs, dealers, technology provider, and fleet sales.
