Hi! Tech is seeking a sharp, energetic, creative, highly motivated, and personable network engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contributing to network support at our clients, successful tech-forward global organizations, as a part of an established network engineering team
- Demonstrating accountability for clients' network environments by analyzing, planning, testing, and implementing network security and promoting network connectivity
- Working closely with Hi! Tech IT support specialists on the development, testing, documentation, and configuration of client networks
- Escalating problems to the IT team, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful resolution and reporting
- Responding to and resolving networking tickets in a timely and customer-focused manner
- Administering the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Internet, and hardware
- Administering firewall and network security policies
- Maintaining Meraki and Ubiquiti firewall(s) on both hardware and virtual hosts
- Building and maintaining clients' wireless infrastructures
- Providing training and guidance to others on the IT team on network analysis, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices
- Maintaining documentation of network, processes, procedures, knowledgebase articles, troubleshooting guides, and change logs
- Providing detailed, accurate, and timely reporting of work completed for client deliverables
- Responsibility extends to all offices of the company and may require travel to any of our clients' offices, including New York City, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and San Diego
