Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support manufacturing operations and business objectives.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for manufacturing equipment, components, and materials, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain conditions, and raw material pricing to manage risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure purchased materials and equipment meet technical and safety requirements.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to meet production schedules.
- Optimize the procurement process to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Develop and maintain a supplier performance evaluation system, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, including cost analyses, supplier performance metrics, and risk assessments.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance in all purchasing activities.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with exposure to hydraulic, water, or vacuum systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and drive operational improvements.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
