The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales, maintenance, presentation, and demonstration of Hi-Vac Corporation's product lines to potential customers on a day-to-day basis. Complete all dealer development processes when applicable. Practice strong sales skills, computer skills, marketing, and business processes.
Essential Job Duties include but not limited to :
- Market Development.
- Maintain the dealer network in the assigned area via a continuous, rolling schedule of Dealer visitation, training, sales assistance, and relationship building. Strive for continuous positive development of the Dealer corps through value-added performance appraisals and reviews.
- Quote preparation.
- Customer Specification Review.
- Customer Demonstration Planning / Logistics.
- Continuous acquisition and cataloguing of competitive data; coordination of said intelligence with HVC Sales team and Senior Management
- Facilitate demonstrations to customers; at times may be accompanied by HVC / Dealer sales personnel. Capable of working effectively in an unsupervised sales environment.
- Provide unit training to customers as needed.
- Prepare product for demonstration - clean inside and out, complete with necessary tools.
- Assist with arrangement, setup, and execution of Trade Shows.
- Significant travel required.
- Ensure travel expenditures are within corporate guidelines.
